Q&A: Is there a website w/ comprehensive information of the pet food recall?

Question by manoarain808: Is there a website w/ comprehensive information of the pet food recall?

All of these different companies are recalling their products and it’s getting more difficult to keep up. I’m visiting all these websites and crosschecking the products I have with the various lists. I was wondering if there was a SINGLE website that kept track of the products that are being recalled.

When I pulled up Purina.com (the official site) (since that is what I feed my cat) – It gave me all the information I needed and websites to find more updated info as it becomes known.
By the way, Purina says that they make and use all their cat and dog food (except one brand of Mighty Dog) in their own plant right here in the good old USA.
Check it out…

Is it legal to use free wallpaper images in website comps?

Question by Jane: Is it legal to use free wallpaper images in website comps?

I work for a small web design agency, and just wanted to know if it’s legal to use wallpaper images in my design compositions. We can’t buy stock images until AFTER the design is approved (stupid, I know), so how else can I use large images in my designs?

Best answer:

Answer by ShaKri
If the website you are taking the wallpapers from has declared it royalty free and open to public, then you are fine.

Else – we have some legal issues. šŸ™‚ Usually no one cares …but its not right legally.

Cheers,

SK

Q&A: Is there a software program or website for correcting (not just spotting) xhtml errors in website design?

Question by Anne R: Is there a software program or website for correcting (not just spotting) xhtml errors in website design?

I’ve used online validators to identify the errors in my site, but I’m looking for something that can actually correct them. Thanks.

Well, the computer can’t know what you mean if you don’t write valid code… If you want it to /guess/, see HTML Tidy (http://tidy.sourceforge.net/). Again, sometimes it will guess wrong and sometimes it won’t know what the problem is.

Those of you who have requested a refund from the McNeil product recall website?

Question by ?Holly? Mama to Jaden and Rylee: Those of you who have requested a refund from the McNeil product recall website?

For the recent tylenol/motrin/bendadry/zyrtec recall. I sent my request last night. I had 2 bottles of infant tylenol, one bottle of children’s tylenol, and one bottle of children’s motrin. What happens now? They had to get my phone number and said something about calling me. Will they call me or just send the refund in the mail?
Tina-Me too. They are on my kitchen counter.

I didn’t have an option to have them *not* call me. My phone number was mandatory.

I submitted mine over a week ago. I chose to be emailed instead of called, but no response yet. It would be nice if they gave a little bit more information. šŸ™‚
