Attack of the Nightmare-a-saurus (dinosaur stop motion)

A normal day begins and our hero decides to go on a walk in the Australian forest. Little does our hero suspect that in the forest, lying in wait is a horrible monster? Will he survive the “Attack of the Nightmare-a-saurus”? This is a stop motion film made in about 3 months. Using Stop motion pro for the animation and FXhome Vision Lab for the compositing and special effects. Ulead video studio 10 was used for editing and sound design. If any one would like to know how I made this or anything about it, please don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll get back to you. If you would like to know how I made the stop motion monster take a look at my “making a monster” video on my channel. If you would like to know more about this type of animation I’m putting a “part 2” to the “making a monster” video titled “brining the monster to life”. I hope in the future to make a more complete film. For the moment this is all I have time for. Hope you enjoy it!!!!! By the way it is not me acting (as I am a horrible actor)

Oh My Goodness – Now You Gotta Check Your Cribs!!!?

Question by Kat: Oh My Goodness – Now You Gotta Check Your Cribs!!!?

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — About one million Chinese-made, Simplicity brand cribs are being recalled after three infants died and seven were trapped when the drop side of cribs detached causing a dangerous gap, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
One 9-month-old child and one 6-month-old child died in cribs using older-style hardware that had the drop-side installed upside down.

I don’t even know who made my daughters crib which all 3 used but my 16 week old sleeps in with us anyway but this is just awful.
And we still import things from China…Whhhhyyyy?

Why do people want to teach intelligent design?

Question by Chris K: Why do people want to teach intelligent design?

so, I just watched most of Ben Stein’s documentary: “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed”. Basically, the only clips of people who were for the theory of evolution were something like this:”intelligent design is stupid! Why would you ever believe something as stupid as that?” Ok, intelligent design is not a scientific theory. For one, it is not falsifiable. How could I possibly even try to prove you wrong? If you can show me an elephant fossil that dated to the Precambrian era, I might be a little bit more skeptical about the theory of evolution. Two, an intelligent designer is NOT the most parsimonious explanation for the origins of life on Earth. Yes, I know, cells are very complicated. However, I find it a much simpler explanation that life arose through something like the RNA world hypothesis that I do that the first cell was created by some kind of supreme being. I’m sorry, but I just gotta vent a little after seeing something like that. Don’t get it confused, intelligent design is not science, and it would be a real dis-service to kids to teach it in schools.

How do we test ID:

==========================

Most Christians I know don’t want biblical creationism taught in science classes (they would butcher it, and then there’s the argument about all the other creation stories being taught). What we want is for microbes-to-man evolution to be taught with all its warts—in most states, they are not even allowed to present evidence that would put evolution in a poor light. And we want Intelligent Design to at least be mentioned (with teachers free to discuss it without fear of being sacked). Unlike alchemy, storks bringing babies, a flat earth, etc., a significant percentage of the (tax paying) population believes in ID (which is agnostic regarding the source of design and encompasses every “creation” story).

See the New World Encyclopedia entry on Intelligent Design:
http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Intelligent_design

Good science teaching should include controversies. But, whenever you mention this kind of stuff, Darwinists jump from their trees and start behaving as if someone had stolen their bananas. Apparently, academic freedom is for other subjects. At the moment, educators are in the interesting position of not teaching students, but instead conditioning them to recite the “correct” answers without a second thought to other possible explanations. Today’s science education does not sufficiently emphasize inquiry-based learning.

What are the Darwinists afraid of? A little critical analysis never hurt anyone who had the evidence on their side. The Darwinists worship their idol but don’t listen to him. He said, “A fair result can be obtained only by fully stating and balancing the facts and arguments on both sides of each question…” (Charles Darwin, Origin of Species).

Evolutionists typically claim that the evidence for modern Darwinism is “overwhelming.” But they act as if they know the evidence is so shaky that the slightest whiff of open discussion will topple the theory. If high school students are capable of understanding the arguments and evidence for modern evolutionary theory, then they should be able to understand (and rationally discuss) scientific criticisms of modern evolutionary theory.

Who is at fault for the minnesota bridge collapse?

Question by : Who is at fault for the minnesota bridge collapse?

Recently a Minessota bridge collapsed. However, some unnamed officials keep getting their quotes published in media as, “this really wasn’t anyone’s fault. everything was done properly and the bridge was inspected and ruled safe”. My question is, who is to be blamed and held accountable for the collapse? It is hard to believe that nobody is at fault. Is this the negligence of state or negligence at federal level?

Best answer:

Answer by faulty_cortex
The State of Minnesota, for failing to address a bridge that was “structurally defeicient.”

Q&A: Do any of you see something wrong with this recall?

Question by grandma zaza: Do any of you see something wrong with this recall?

WASHINGTON – Nearly 2 million Summer Infant video baby monitors were recalled Friday after being linked to the strangulation deaths of two infants.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the electrical cords on the monitors can be dangerous for babies if placed too close to their cribs.

According to the commission, a 10-month-old girl from Washington, D.C., died in March when she strangled on the cord of a Summer Infant monitor camera that had been placed on the top of the crib rail. In November, a 6-month-old boy from Conway, S.C., strangled in the electrical cord of a baby monitor placed on the changing table attached to his crib.

Forget about the parents negligence, which is clear. But, aren’t TV baby monitors used to watch the baby?

I am sorry, but I see this as a very silly recall. Surely, this company will lose tons of business because of this, and the result will be more lost jobs.
