1. Macs don’t have right click and scroll wheel
2. iPhone 2.2 still don’t know how to store the calendar in universal time. So when you go to a new timezone, the schedules don’t change correctly. Outlook does this correctly; and so does Palm calendar. Display needs to be wider so that it can get a standard column into a 12 point font, without shrinking the font in landscape mode. Need to have a real keypad like the G-phone and still be thin. Need microSD. Need multi-tasking.
3. Windows 7 is like Mary Poppins; perfect in every way. We’ll see.

The Universe is Rated R
The more I learn about the universe, the less convinced I am that there’s any sort of benevolent force that has anything to do with it, at all -Neil degrasse Tyson The Universe is Rated R for Cosmic Violence. Since the Big Bang the Universe has been a dynamic mix of exploding stars, colliding galaxies, black holes, dark matter, comets and asteroids- this cosmic violence is on such an immense scale that it makes our tiny planet seem like a distant spectator hoping not to be noticed by the war of the titans. But it will be noticed and has been in the past. There is a huge nuclear fire ball called the sun in our solar system that will become a red giant and the Andromeda galaxy heading towards our own galaxy. Our planet has no choice but to be part of this cosmic violence. And the Universe itself has to deal with its own demise. “This too shall pass” is a “universal” statement. A universe in which everything is known would be static and dull, as boring as the heaven of some weak-minded theologians-Carl Sagan The more I learn about the universe, the less convinced I am that there’s any sort of benevolent force that has anything to do with it, at all-Neil degrasse Tyson This present-day version of God of the gaps goes by a fresh name: intelligent design. The term suggests that some entity, endowed with a mental capacity far greater than the human mind can muster, created or enabled all the things in the physical world that we cannot explain through scientific methods. There is a recent commercial (don’t recall the product) with stewardesses dancing on clouds?
Question by assPOPE: There is a recent commercial (don’t recall the product) with stewardesses dancing on clouds?
It was airing in recent weeks. In particular, one stewardess is seated next to the pilot, then turns her head to her right, facing you (the camera).
They are dressed in dark blue(?) uniforms, I think.
Anyone happen to know which commercial that is?
And yes, I realize this is a silly question, but thanks for looking anyway.

Question by Annie Coulter’s Little Black Dress: Will liberals ever admit to the failures of social engineering in the 1970s?
Remember the “Terror Towers” of public housing in the inner cities. At least we got the comedy series “Good Times” from it, and it also made for cheaper real estate when the yuppies went in during the 1990s and did urban renewal. What do you think?

All liberals did was create more racism and urban violence.

from what i have been reading about AMO (I used the one that is specifically named in the recall).. right now, AMO is voluntarily recalling 18 specific lots of the product.. I’ve listed two sources, the first one is from the CDC outlining the condition related to the AMO recall and the symptoms, the second one is about the recall itself.. hope this helps..

Is this a stupid design idea?
Question by Satinette: Is this a stupid design idea?
Idea for a student project:The project is to promote fresh and healthy food at the canteen using posters and flyers. Now this is one of my ideas – using a cigarette-shaped box as a base graphic, but instead of cigarettes, having images of beautiful photographs of fruits. Instead of “Surgeons warning: will cause lung cancer”, have “Will fight cancer” (fruit and veggies that is).
The only thing I’m worried about is the negative connotation of a cigarette box. That’s the only thing. Is my idea clever enough to avoid the negativity of this association? My idea is, after all, playful concept of how fruit and vegs are like opposites of cigarettes – one causes cancers, the other fights and protects (to an extent) cancers.
