Question by Annie Coulter’s Little Black Dress: Will liberals ever admit to the failures of social engineering in the 1970s?
Remember the “Terror Towers” of public housing in the inner cities. At least we got the comedy series “Good Times” from it, and it also made for cheaper real estate when the yuppies went in during the 1990s and did urban renewal. What do you think?

They’re trying to expand the great social experiment right now. Why would they admit it was a failure?

No they won’t and with the porkulous package that just passed – expect bottom-feeder guvnment dependent people to increase exponentially.
yeah they were all better off in dilapidated housing that burned down and fell down……..better to do nothing and let people die than try to help them…..and when you make a mistake, admit it, we ARE tearing down that housing, and try something else….but DON”T go back to what has already failed which is what the cons want to do.
Also, public housing didn’t fail while it was on a co-op model it failed after politicians rep and dem saw it as a profit center…..
part of our greatness has always been our daring, our willingness to try new things. Why do cons want to squelch this in our nation? Oh yeah, those pesky profit centers….

Don’t watch network TV, so I don’t see any good coming out of returning to social engineering.

Since when do the liberals ever admit to anything? They just keep doing more of what they always have done; taking our money and freedom in the name of “knowing what is good for us.”
