I was contacted by a man who obtained my phone # from a Home Remodeling Show about some windows. He doesn’t have a license, but business cards printed “Design Consultant” saying he does windows & more. He came to my house measured for windows, got paid 1/2 the money & also constracted w/me to do a bathroom. He hires people rather than do the work himself. There were & are still problems w/the bathroom job, but as that was being done he said he didn’t have enough money to finish the jobs & asked me to pay him the remaining money. Well STUPID me, I did!! Now I have an unfinished bathroom & no windows. He met w/the death of his wife & I have tried to wait for him to come through. This all began in late July/Aug. & now it’s April & he never mentions finishing the bathroom, & goes for weeks w/out any mention of the window installation. I don’t know what I can do if anything. I would appreciate any suggestions.

It sounds like you pretty well got screwed.
There is nothing wrong with him contracting out the work to other (hopefully qualified) people.
However if you paid him half up front – and he is jerking you around, I would first report him to the better business bureau, and secondly demand that he refunds the money you have given him for work that was not done. If he refuses, you may need to take him to court (depending on the amount involved you might not be able to do small claims court – and you may want to lawyer up).

I have designed an airplane that I would like to see take to the skys as the real thing, however, it is rather large so I cant build it in my garage, and it would cost upwards of ,000,000 AUS. I know it sounds stupid but it could really work. I have also designed an aircraft never seen before capable of being used by the military a great deal. Can anyone help?

First off, protect your design. I don’t know about Aussie law but US law says keep a record of your design with dates, log books, pictures, sketches, etc. to verify you were first with the idea. Once you’ve applied for a patent, contact the big airline companies, Boeing, Lockheed Martin in the US, Airbus in Europe and tell them you have an idea and try to set up a meeting. You’re going to have to be persistent and remember to protect yourself with confidentiality agreements and the like while you’re shopping your idea around. It won’t easy no matter how good your idea is but be persistent.
Your other route is to go throught the military and shop the idea that way. That may be the more tortured path though.

You have to use Adobe PhotoShop or an online photo editor. You can buy PhotoShop in stores. You can edit your photos by using an online photo editor.

Hope bad sales on PSP will make SEGA reconsider to return this series back to PS3. *** (updated on Nov. 13) Besides the graphic, the reasons that I prefer VC series to be on PS3 rather than PSP are as following: Why is there a maximun 5 units limit on a single map in VC2? Hardware limit of PSP. On PS3, the limit can be at least 8 or even above. Why does VC2 use splited and small maps? Hardware limit of PSP. PSP cannot handle so many material on a big map. Why do units have to end their action mode when changing a map? Hardware limit of PSP. I think PSP cannot handle 2 maps at the same time. Besides, I think that splited maps make VC2 and VC3 have to change the reinforcement system from waiting for one turn to no waiting time. And actually, I think this change makes this game too easy. People does not need to keep and clear the advancing route but just need to keep one camp spot and then all squd members can teleport there immediately. I think this makes this series become much less challenging, and I think it is not a good thing for a strategy game. PSP’s hardware limit makes VC2 and VC3 have to compromise something on game play. New Year: *Cocktail Party* Nail Art Design
I really had no choice this time but to leave parts out :/ sadly my editing program/stupid computer make some kind of agreement to do everything they could to stop me from editing this video -.- it litterally crashed on me every time I added a tiny itty bitty thing! so I had to delete a few subtitles, pictures and clips to be able to save it as a huge video file – then convert that video file into a different format – so please bare with me! 🙂 I was requested to do a cocktail design – believe it was from a bartender? ^^ I made it a couple of months ago, was planning to upload it closer to new year but simply couldn’t wait. The last part of the video explained: Apply base coat and a nude polish, make a coloured french tip followed by a black tip slightly further to the edge – apply a layer of top coat and peel the drinks off the plastic bag – place them on the nails and make sure they stick. I’m going into graphic design, and I need a laptop… I’m trying to design the best screen-size. I’m looking into the Macbook Pro, which is obviously super expensive, but it’d be stupid to get the cheaper 13-inch if it’s too small for what I want to do with it.

13″ is probably way too small for graphic design. I also hear that the 13″ Macbook Pro’s screen resolution and quality is terrible, so you should get at least a 15″. If you can afford it, the 17″ would probably be the best route. Or considering getting a PC with a nice size screen (PCs are just as good for graphic design as Macs)

If you’re not changing the number, just the design, the old card should work until you get and validate the new one.

Why would one carry one’s whole genetic potential in such a vulnerable position?
Surely an intelligent designer could have figured out a way for testicles to work at body temperature, as ovaries do…..

Only the Boreoeutherian land mammals, the large group of mammals that includes humans, have externalized testicles. Indeed their testicles function best at temperatures lower than their core body temperature. Their testes are located outside of the body, suspended by the spermatic cord within the scrotum. The testes of the non-boreotherian mammals such as the monotremes, armadillos, sloths, elephants remain within the abdomen.
