Valkyria Chronicles 3 Demo Mission 2 – by occupying main base (in 1 turn)

This playable demo is downloaded from Japanese PSN. There are 2 missions in this demo. *** About VC3 is confirmed on PSP: In Order to boycott SEGA keeping producing VC series on PSP, I will not buy VC3 until the price drops or a half year after the sales day. Hope bad sales on PSP will make SEGA reconsider to return this series back to PS3. *** (updated on Nov. 13) Besides the graphic, the reasons that I prefer VC series to be on PS3 rather than PSP are as following: Why is there a maximun 5 units limit on a single map in VC2? Hardware limit of PSP. On PS3, the limit can be at least 8 or even above. Why does VC2 use splited and small maps? Hardware limit of PSP. PSP cannot handle so many material on a big map. Why do units have to end their action mode when changing a map? Hardware limit of PSP. I think PSP cannot handle 2 maps at the same time. Besides, I think that splited maps make VC2 and VC3 have to change the reinforcement system from waiting for one turn to no waiting time. And actually, I think this change makes this game too easy. People does not need to keep and clear the advancing route but just need to keep one camp spot and then all squd members can teleport there immediately. I think this makes this series become much less challenging, and I think it is not a good thing for a strategy game. PSP’s hardware limit makes VC2 and VC3 have to compromise something on game play. And that is the main reason I prefer VC series on PS3 but not PSP. We know SEGA does …

I start the Valkyria Chronicles with the second because I don’t have PS3
But i saw the anime about a first one.
Who cares about the graphics and the gameplay? THE GAME HAVE A FUCKIG AWESOME STORYLINE!
@probwu I agree that balance was kinda shot in VC2 but I thought it was still very fun. I agree with you on the rewards and the samey-map gripes though.
VC3 doesn’t seem to be terribly difficult either, but I hope the rewards are more consistent and level up systems more easy to understand and gauge and hopefully the game will be harder.
VC1 IMO was too easy to abuse. Maybe even more than VC2 for me.
i use that tactic too (let them kill themselfs) 😀
I want this demo. I think i might have to download it from the Japanese PSN store soon.
@JoonStudios Actually, I think VC2 is a not-well-tested game. The reason is too long so I typed it in the video description.
@newername That is true but considering it only sold 90,000 copies in Japan (VC2) that’s kind of sad. I hope people don’t stop getting it or I’ll have to learn Japanese. 🙁 I don’t want to learn another language. Korean and French s already enough.
@JoonStudios I doubt they’ll stop making VC. They’ll just stop bringing them to the US.
@fries00 The gameplay is better, the graphics don’t matter. Also maybe it’s just me but the Persona 4 layout made the story 1000% better than the already great story of an VC1. VC3 is gonna rock. But I can understand your opinion.
@JoonStudios VC2 is better than VC1? How? The only thing that is better that there’s more balance but other than that VC1 is superior to VC2 in every way.
Oh and also boycotting it will mean Sega just won’t make VC anymore.
Why would you boycott it just for graphics. VC2 is 20x better than VC1 jeez and this game looks awesome.
IT’S OUT ALREADY!!!???
