Legit ~ Do you keep a collar on your dog, why or why not?
Oops sorry haha, I don’t use this brand so I didn’t read the whole thing, just skimmed it, didn’t realize it was a vitamin!

Best answer:

Answer by Jo
I keep two on-
One has her license and a tag with my cell number and her name on it.
The other is what she gets tied to. So if she slips her collar (since she’s tied when no one is around), she still has ID on her.

Q&A: hey can someone help me that really knows the answers to the big toy recall?

Question by joseph b: hey can someone help me that really knows the answers to the big toy recall?

Hello, I have a diego talking rescue 4×4 that I was going to wrap up for x-mas and my hubby is flipping out because of the recall. This product was on the recall but the time frame does not match. The recall says between april-aug. I explained to him that I bought mine in either Jan or Feb at the latest but he is worried and doesn’t want to chance it. Would some one please tell him that they give those dates for a reason. I mean I’ve never had to return a product on a recall before so I am not familiar with it but I thought that the dates they give are very specific and that those are the only ones to worry about. If they were unsure I’m sure they would have included a bigger time frame. Can anyone help me out and maybe make me feel a little better about this whole thing. Of course I wouldn’t jeopardize my child’s health over a toy and thats how my hubby is making me feel. Can anyone give me some reassurance or something so I can reassure him. If I’m wrong, someone please let me know.

DEG in Toothpaste from China
updated June 15, 2007

Introduction
FDA has found a poisonous chemical, diethylene glycol (DEG), in certain toothpastes imported from China. The agency increased its scrutiny and testing of imported toothpaste and dental products after receiving reports in late May 2007 of contaminated Chinese dental products found in several countries, including Panama.

The agency is warning consumers to avoid using tubes of toothpaste labeled as made in China and, through an import alert, is stopping all suspect toothpaste from entering the United States. FDA continues to investigate this problem and will take further action, as appropriate, to address this important public safety issue. View News Updates

What is a Car Recall?

product recall
by Public Citizen

Question by answers4evry1: What is a Car Recall?

I called the dealer, and they asked me for the VIN number to “check” any recall. I gave it to this guy, and he said: There’s no recall.

What does that exactly mean?

Best answer:

Answer by Jeff
A recall is when a car manufacturer finds out after a car has hit the market that a part is unsafe or unreliable (though further testing or reports from dealerships of a large number of failures). What they will do is develop a fix to the problem, replacing or repairing the part that is at fault. They will announce that fix and what years/models of vehicles are affected to the dealerships and owners.

When you bring your car in, they can look up the VIN to see if there are any recalls that need to be performed. Once they are performed, they mark your VIN down as being completed (so that a different dealership won’t re-do the fix later). “No recalls” is a good thing, as it means that there are no known unsafe or unreliable parts on your vehicle, or that any of those recall repairs have already been done.

(Note that in the Wikipedia article below, it refers to general product recalls. With most products, you would simply return the product for a refund, but with cars being so expensive, they will repair just the part the needs to be fixed)
