What are the benefits of having well-managed operations?

Answer by ????? Girl
The benefits of having well-managed operations is that it cut down on waste/liabilities and lower the cost of running the business/operation, which will in turn reflects in a rise in profit.
Waste can occur via employee non-productivity, waste of productivity time leads to loss of profit. You don’t pay employees to goof off, and not do nothing. A well-managed operation insures that work or service is being done, as well as motivates employees to work more and co-operate as a team. Facilitating a better workplace atmosphere and a system of accountability in the chain of command.
Waste also occurs in production or manufacturing, a well-managed operation will use current technology to ensure that measurements and the design process are accurate, that no excess raw material, or over compensation occurs. This also helps with quality control, and ensures products do not break and do not need recalls that will cost the operation both money and poor consumer rating.

The teacher can fail you for not wearing the right color shoes. Of course they can fail you for that. At the end of the day they have power to fail you for no reason.

What was the product for a commercial – 2 ladies having tea, tornado comes, one says she is going to basement?
Question by Punjabibydefault: What was the product for a commercial – 2 ladies having tea, tornado comes, one says she is going to basement?
Trying to locate a commercial on youtube. I cannot remember the product. There were 2 ladies having tea. One looks out the window & spots a tornado and says “I am going to get some napkins…down in the basement” or something like that. Have tried many times, cannot find this commercial. Anyone recall the product (sounds like it could be napkins, but not sure)?

Having some stupid web design trouble, need help.?
Question by KPizzle: Having some stupid web design trouble, need help.?
So yeah, basically I haven’t even really added anything yet. All I’m trying to do is get a background color and a background image set and to repeat horizontally in a external style sheet. I can’t seem to find any errors in my XHTML file and everything seems like it should. I did link the file in the XHTML so I don’t know whats happening, maybe I did something wrong, I don’t know. I can’t find the problem. When I upload it to my host to see if it works, absolutely nothing comes up, not the colors, nor the image. I’m not very good at web design yet, so any tips will also be appreciated.
Here’s the XHTML part of it:
And here’s the style sheet link:

Take out the # sign in the CSS.
You only use a number sign if you are referring to a div’s id, like if you had done this:
Then, you would have to refer to that by #body. When you just want to address the actual body of your HTML, you don’t use it.
