Hi, I’ve written a short 10min parody based on Desperate housewives, brothers and sisters, and NCIS. Its complicated and a little stupid, impossible to film, and it has to develop into something by the end of the school year. WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THIS????? THANKS!!!

If it’s technically impossible to film, or physically impossible to perform, and you actually need to film/perform it at the end of this school year, then your first step is to make it possible to perform. If its designed to be filmed and it involves someone doing something impossible, a bit of green screen is cheap and easy to use; or if it requires funding for what you want to do, then see if you can find ways of doing it on the cheap. It’s a parody like you said, so the quality doesn’t have to be professional film. Also it sounds like you’re a student, so again the quality will not be the most important thing.

I’m not sure whether your asking what next steps to take with the writing or the script as a finished product?

If it’s the former then remember it’s a parody, so scour the tv shows your parodying and read reviews/public opinion to see what opens up as something you can make fun of. If it’s the latter then find a band of friends or people on the school acting scene and rehearse/perform it.
