Question by ngj03: Simplicity convertible sleeper recall, product recalls in general, any time limit to return?
For a product recall, is there ever a time limit. I bought this about 3 years ago and was saving it for my next child. Can I still bring it in since it is now on recall? I don’t have the box or receipt at this point. Thanks so much.
Its a bassinet, and there is a recall going on:

I don’t think the crib recall is issuing refunds. Instead they’re sending out a free repair kit. More info: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml07/07307.html
What do you think? Answer below!
I would call the company But the recalled convertible sleepers were made between January 2005 through August 2008 so you should be able to take it back even without the box or receipt.

I have one that is on the recall list but I have not taken my back because I keep on forgetting to. I called babies r us to ask them about a refund and they told me they would give me but it will not be the whole refund since it has been a year since I recvied the bassinet. I would call where you go the bassinet from and ask them but I think you should be able to return the bassinet since it has been recalled.
There are no expiry dates on recalls

Take care.
