CPGear – KISS Rig – Product Review

www.cpgear.com Based on the premise of Murphys Law (what can go wrong, will go wrong), the design team wanted to put together a simple, no frills rig that could withstand the abuse of an extended deployment, and whose design philosophy was based on the tried and true Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) acronym. The rig features a split front design which allows it to be easily put on, and taken off. 10 channels of MOLLE webbing on each panel allows for tremendous flexibility in configuring the desired load-out. All the plastic hardware on the KISS Rig is configured so that it can be quickly and easily replaced in the field in the event of breakage. Flap closed internal map pockets eliminate the Velcro hand/knuckle chafe points that is common with other similar rigs. 1.5 web and hardware on the shoulder straps can be easily swapped out for a padded harness (ie Tactical Tailor X-Harness, SO Tech Hellcat Harness, etc.) if the user desires. Constructed of durable Cordura nylon, mil-spec webbing and hardware. Made in Canada by CP Gear and backed by a 5-year warranty.
