Q&A: Help! How to deal with this catholicism class “Intelligent Design” nonsense?
Question by : Help! How to deal with this catholicism class “Intelligent Design” nonsense?
So our last catholicism class was about the watchmaker argument. Well it’s really a stupid theory and simply doesn’t make any sense. The theory is that –The complex inner workings of a watch necessitate an intelligent designer and that simply shaking(evolution) is not enough. She even told us to try fixing an old watch by shaking it, according to her if evolution is correct it should work. The problem is we need to prepare a report on this, i know this theory is nonsense, so what should i do?

Is there a class action lawsuit against Chrystler because of their cars’ theft design flaws?
Question by Steve J: Is there a class action lawsuit against Chrystler because of their cars’ theft design flaws?
My car has been stolen twice. They get in with a screw driver, break the PLASTIC steering column, and drive away using a stick. Every CHRYSTLER has this flaw. Even the new ‘300’s. they have done nothing to fix this problem. My friend works with troubled youth and he even over heard them talking about how they can drive away with a chrystler with only a stick. these kids aren’t even 16 yet. this is a serious design flaw that they still haven’t corrected.

Did Honda ever correct their flaws, like starting one up with a filed down Chrysler key, or the ease of pulling back on the frame less window, NO
What about the early GM column that can be broken apart and started w/ a screwdriver, NO
Sorry I think you can’t fault a manufacturer for not designing a car that cannot be stolen 100% of the time.
BTW I understand that even if you can get the steering wheel unlocked, if the transmitter is not active then the theft module will not allow the engine to stay running, so I think your off on this one.

Q&A: Housing and Interior design class –valuable or stupid?
Question by corey: Housing and Interior design class –valuable or stupid?
There’s a housing and interior design class at my school that i signed up for next year, without putting much thought into it. i can get rid of that class and not be in it if i want….but i was thinking that it might be really stupid and embarrasing because of the current housing market..like they said that the class explores the different home buying options…and everything like that..or would this be a very valuable experience? I interior design (but not as a career) and i wont ever be a real estate person. should I drop out of this class?

No, don’t drop out. It could be fun. Besides, I’m sure a school wouldn’t offer a class that’s not valuable.
