*** Valco Ion Stroller (MAJOR DESIGN FLAW !!!)

We took our baby out for a walk with the Valco Ion baby stroller, and on the 5th time, when suddenly, the stroller collapsed!!! Luckily I was able to hold the stroller when it happened so it did not totally tip over with our baby in it. My wife quickly took our 3 month out of the stroller while I was holding the stroller from tipping over. Took the stroller home and this is the defect that I have found… it appears the clipping mechanism at the base wore off and it no longer locks the bracket in place, major design flaw!!! Imagine this happened to your stroller when you are crossing a major intersection, or entering/exiting an elevator or worse, a subway train?

Arnie Gundersen, chief nuclear engineer from Fairewinds and Associates explains the venting design flaw in Fukushima and other nuclear plants. Arnie Gundersen explains how containment vents were added to the GE Mark 1 BWR as a “band aid” 20 years after the plants built in order to prevent an explosion of the notoriously weak Mark 1 containment system. Obviously the containment vent band aid fix did not work since all three units have lost containment integrity and are leaking radioactivity. Gundersen also discusses seismic design flaws, inadequate evacuation planning, and the taxpayer supported nuclear industry liability fund. HP Pavilion DM4 Notebook – Power Button Design Flaw!

HP Pavilion DM4 — Amazing!!! Major design flaw! Power button does not sit flush, so you can turn the power button on and off by exerting pressure on the outside of? the computer lid right above where the power button sits. This may be a major design flaw in the laptop. My computer turns on and off when I carry it in my backpack… Still waiting to hear back from HP on how they plan on fixing this issue, which may be a design issue and not simply isolated to one computer.

2nd reason I dislike Apple & the Mac : The UI is IMHO wrong. In many ways it has not gotten over its basic design flaws that go all the way back to 1984. And until recently Windows was staying true to its 1985 UI roots. Linux has surpassed both in this area , and unlike both Windows & Mac OS X, it lets its user choose which base UI design they want to use.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 Design Flaw Update

Official Site: www.theworldwarrior.com With this video, I can confirm that it is a software issue and NOT a hardware issue – which is technically good news for me as I should be able to reaccess the device, but bad news as it means this could happen to anyone. More to come

Perhaps someone is familiar with this particular model.

How exactly is challenging Intelligent Design by pointing out a flaw in human biology deserving of a violation?

Question by Nero T. Pickle: How exactly is challenging Intelligent Design by pointing out a flaw in human biology deserving of a violation?

I recently received a violation for asking why the human body cannot produce its own vitamin C if Intelligent Design is true.

This site would honestly be in far better shape if it just suspended all these worthless, stupid *** report monkeys, and a pineapple would honestly make a better moderator than what we have now.

iPhone 4 Signal Loss and Dropped Calls Due to Antenna Design Flaw

Cupertino we have a problem!

It seems that the “most precise thing” ever done by Apple, as Steve Jobs referred to when talking about the new antenna, is provoking a drop in signal when the new iPhone 4 is held in the palm. The metal sides of the iPhone are the antenna thus giving the phone the largest cell phone antenna ever. That seemed to be a great idea, especially that no one else was doing it. Perhaps for a good reason.

Unfortunately, sometimes, what seems to be a great idea on paper turns out not to be so great when put in practice! When the human hand touches an antenna in a single spot, it will increase the signal to the antenna due to the body’s approximately 75% water composition which allows us to conduct electricity. However, when there are multiple points of contact it will create a drop in signal due to electromagnetic interference, as the owners of the new iPhone 4 have noticed. The call quality drops, signal bars are lost, and since it’s a design flaw, it’s a much more serious issue than a software bug would be.

Apple admitted the existence of the problem and their customer support representatives are offering a solution: use “bumper cases” to prevent the hand from touching the antenna or avoid holding the phone in your hand! Both are pretty horrible solutions to a hardware problem that should be fixed by Apple.

For years we blamed AT&T for the poor coverage but it seems that they are not the only ones at fault.

Aluminum Macbook 2.0 Design Flaw

Found a problem with the battery cover. From what i’ve researched, this is common on almost every Macbook/MBP yet. One forum user stated it will take three weeks for the Apple Store to get in replacement parts for a new product. Some have exchanged their laptops for new ones but found to have the same issue. UPDATE 27th OCT 08: Received s new Macbook as an exchange from the Apple Store – this one is fine.
