Question by Mythical Creature: Is there such a thing as a cell phone that was not Made in China?
My Nokia give-away from Sprint is about to draw it’s last breath. After all of the consumer recalls of products Made In China in the news lately I honestly don’t want to buy a product that will be near my head for any length of time from China. We as a family have also made a decision to avoid Chinese-manufactured products as much as possible. Can anyone tell me what cell phones, if any, are made in countries that are not China? Also–Bluetooth headsets would be cool to find too!
Thanks!

What do you think? Answer below!
Original Nokia phones are made in Europe…
I have the Nokia N73 and its not made in China…
You’re right, everything is made in China even the American flag…lol
Isn’t Nokia a Japanese company? Anyway you can’t find any cellphone that doesn’t have at least part of it made in China. I imagine the majority of cellphones have parts that come from China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, etc. But are assembled in China so they have the “made in China” sticker.
Not all phones from a particular manufacture are made in the same exact place. Some Nokia phones are made in China, and some are in Mexico (I have one). Most Samsung phones are made in Taiwan, but some are made in China and Korea.
If you don’t want a product from China, ask to look at the cell phones first before you get it.
