Humans are not created through intelligent design. That’s why humans are naturally unintelligent. (It takes work to not be stupid.)

Not surprising if you approach things from an agnostic point of view, since in that case all humans are basically glorified monkeys. But when you think about it, that just doesn’t quite seem right, does it?
Stupid people exist because we define those of us below some arbitrary IQ cutoff, e.g. 80, as stupid. A bell curve distribution seems to exist for many measurable genetic/environmental properties, so I don’t see what’s wrong with having one for intelligence as well. A retarded person with a 65 IQ is still far smarter than the smartest monkey or dolphin. So the term “stupid” just applies relative to the smarter of the bunch, and not as an absolute. If the world contained all “smart” people, then the bell curve would just be bunched up toward the higher end of the scale, and then in that improved society people with an IQ of below, say, 125, would then be considered stupid, because we consider intelligence relative. The only way to get rid of stupid people would be for all people to have the same intelligence, which would be quite boring, no?
To assume we were created through intelligent design would suggest truth behind the Adam and Eve fable. And that is your answer. If we all came from 2 people, then that’s a ton of inbreeding. And that is where the dummies come from.
