Question by UniCool: Can a Theistic Evolutionist defend intelligent Design?
I’m not interested in answers like “The intelligent design theory is so stupid that a Theistic Evolutionist wouldn’t want to defend it”, all i’m asking is do Theistic Evolutionists sometimes us arguements like Irreducible Complexity, Specified Complexity and the Anthropic Principle for the existence of God.

Yes. But only if they resort to the same tactics such as misusing quotes, use false information as evidence, etc.
Maybe they could argue that evolution itself is part of the design, and that therefore all creatures are still works in progress under construction (still under the influence of evolution).
Of course, that would be explicitly contrary to the Bible, which is the one and only reason the fundies oppose it. Otherwise they wouldn’t care less about science.
