iPhone 4 Antenna Design Flaw (Lost Bars)

Here is my iPhone 4 32GB in Black. Picked up today due to pre-order at the Apple Store in Providence Place Mall, Providence, Rhode Island. Got there at 6:30AM, left with phone in hand at 9:45AM. Here is a video of me performing several tests on the newly found design flaw on the antenna system where when held in a certain way, cell phone reception vanishes from 5 bars to 1 bar. Hands might have moisture on them due to me washing hands just previously. Bumper case on shows NO loss in signal whatsoever. Video recording using iPhone 3GS 32GB White

Is it altruism if the US gov’t helps victims of Katrina on their feet by restoring the public infrastructure?
Question by heeltap: Is it altruism if the US gov’t helps victims of Katrina on their feet by restoring the public infrastructure?
The above is the headline Q. This is the full-version Q: Is it altruism if the US gov’t helps victims of Katrina back on their feet by restoring the needed public infrastructure of the towns, cities ,counties, & parishes of LA, MS & AL? The people whose lives were impacted by Katrina & Rita & who were forced to leave their homes & businesses, want to go home but many can’t until the gov’t commits to & begins the effort to restore in earnest the public services necessary for people to commit to living temporarily in FEMA trailers while their homes are rebuilt. Public services from water to electricity to garbage/debris removal, police enforcement, public transportation, public housing, medical facilities, & education facilities that were all damaged or destroyed by Katrina & the Levee failures, are the necessary supporting infrastructure of daily life in any city. How can the gov’t at all levels, Federal,State & Local, across the Gulf Coast think they can pretend otherwise. TWH 08282006
Wikipedia gives this definition for the word: “Altruism is an ethical doctrine that holds that individuals have an ethical obligation to help, serve, or benefit others, if necessary at the sacrifice of self interest. Auguste Comte’s version of altruism calls for living for the sake of others. One who holds to either of these ethics is known as an “altruist.”
The ethical doctrine of altruism has also been called the ethic of altruism, moralistic altruism, and ethical altruism.

It is not altruistic of the government for the people by the people…paid for by your tax dollars. The task of rebuilding is going to take up to ten years and the people need thier homes rebuilt today. The damage is far to extensive, to fix in such a short time.

Design-based regulation and patient safety

Design-based regulation and patient safety: A regulatory studies perspective Karen Yeung, and Mary Dixon-Woods Patient safety remains an important problem in healthcare, and an increasingly influential argument calls for technical or “design-based” solutions to prevent errors. We show how, by designing out the possibility of professional agency and discretion, design-based approaches may have significant social, political and ethical implications. Using design-based regulation is largely unproblematic when everyone agrees on constitutes good medical practice. But it becomes much more challenging when there is lack of consensus on what constitutes an error or on the appropriate solution. Use of patient safety technology must be sensitive to the values and motives that get encoded in design. Read the full article at dx.doi.org
Was it by design or Mistakes? Please read and think before answering!?
Question by PicassoInAction: Was it by design or Mistakes? Please read and think before answering!?
Before GOD creates anything he already knows in advance what it would be and how it would work.
1.God creates Angels and they rebel. He create all the angels him self. Angels can’t reproduce so each one of them was designed by GOD. It does not matter why they rebel. One thing is clear there was a flaw or it was designed that way. And since Angels did not inherit sins like humans did than it will be logical to think they all were design by using the same approach. Tough they all were different.
2.God creates ADAM and Eve. Adam deceives the GOD. Regardless of free will is it a mistake by design or he was purposely designed that way?
3.The only ppl God spared from the destruction of Sodom were Lot and his daughters. Genesis 19:33-36 goes on to say how the daughters got Lot drunk and committed incest with him. Was it by design or GOD did not know who he spared?
4.So the Lord said, ‘I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them’ ” (Genesis 6:5-7).
“For I am sorry that I have made them”? AM I missing something?
God destroys the earth literally and saves only Noah and his family. “6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. “ Notice Noah was perfect according to GOD. And we are all coming from Noah. WE still all with sins and corrupted according to God. Did GOD know we will be this way when he saved only Noah? God is sorry for doing it? 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth ; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
5.Finally. About a time GOD realizes that his creations on his own don’t work that well. And he chooses Human female to produce the only pure of sins man. Human female and GOD? All his other creations were not that good that he was needed female?
In this Question I don’t need any one explanation why Angel’s did rebel, why Lot got corrupted, Noah did not do a good job after all and so on. There are 1000 explanations by every denomination of Christians. And they all can’t be right. But the result of it is the fact for them. The question is if it WAS done by ***Design*** or there were “Mistakes”
Some one just answered “God doesn’t make mistakes” weel it seems they aplying that all that happened by his own imagination and design. How cruel of a design
It so amazing that ppl always go for the same lame argument “What He did was give what He created “free will.””
Excuse me, there was no free will before us, he is the one who created and said i give it to you the way i design it.
Before you answer any question just think for a second that when god create Adam and Eve he already knew that today you will asnwer this way. Way before you even existed. SO much for FREE WILL . You could this you could that, but the only thing you could do as what GOD originally assigned to you. But free will is ncie specialy when we don’t udnerstand wtf that is. Just draw the line and they say Line had a free will, it could go other way but sudently it went the way i draw.
May be my QUestion is too long but it seems that no1 reads it or understand ( does not suprise me) Therefore GOD exists
“Question: Do you have children? If so, are they mistakes? Did one please you and the other rebel on every count? Why did you have babies anyway?
Your logic assumes that free will is not in place
”
Well yes i do have childrens but unlike your free will and GODs knolwege i have no idea what happenes when i do till its done. He did know before you even could come up with Free will idea. See the point?
He knew, i don’t.
Free will like everything else was created by him. Was free will a mistake? So armagedon is comming then we all be gone from this planet either to heaven either to Hell? Then no more free will? Temporary effect? Therefore GOD exists.

Resilience and Opportunity: Lessons from the US Gulf Coast after Katrina and Rita
Since Katrina and the levee failures devastated New Orleans and the Gulf Coast in 2005, the world has witnessed catastrophic earthquakes in Haiti, China and New Zealand, floods in Pakistan, and the tsunami that struck Japan. Closer to home, tornados destroyed much of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Joplin, Missouri. These large–scale disasters place new urgency on understanding the lessons learned post–Katrina. Dr. Allison Plyer, editor of “Resilience and Opportunity,” and several contributing scholars introduce this new book from Brookings Institution Press.
