Thanks Jay? I would say the bendy arm set up with a little extra support from some Velcro is the best setup that I’ve attempted? so far 🙂

Great review. I just got a trike and I’m looking to do a similar setup. Seems like all they’d need to do is put a bit of a flange? on the ends so you’d get support in both axis like the flex arm mount does.

    Take care,
    Jay

I’m unsure as to why the have different connectors throughout their range of products. The numbering system they use is also very confusing. I believe they need to consolidate both their connectors and naming systems. Even if they has their products split into ranges it would help. Such a shame as? they’re obviously good products.

Oh Damn! Im honestly not kidding you,I my self have just purchased this very same setup, and I agree with you 100 percent, the fittings are completely different, and im of the same opinion as you that they are unsatisfactory.Ive looked on Amazon uk and failed to see any additions that you need, one thing for sure, you 100% would not want to? be putting this lot onto the “Brass”hex stud they do! Thats way too much weight for that little 1/4 brass stud.

I’ve tried mounting a camera directly to the trike but it’s way? too wobbly. Maybe that’s down to the Catrike 700s no-suspension hard ride though. I gave up and now just have the camera on my helmet. No wobbles, and I can aim where I want. The Magic arm works really well though, nice stable video.
