First I’d like to give you a word about what you should not put in there: you should not stuff it just to make it bigger. You should not grab every “magicky” and “new agey” thing you can find from websites and books just to make it look like some prop from Charmed. You should not put things that people tell you “should” be in there.
That said… a BOS is a personal spiritual journal & record keeping system. That means you should put intoit the things that you feel are really relevant to your faith & practices.
You might record things you learn about Wicca, or your thoughts about those things. You might write down experiences with your Gods, or dreams or whatever spiritual experiences you have so you can remember them. Maybe you’ll write down about a particularly moving ritual you had or a peaceful meditation.
You might choose to include sabbat info, info about the elements, seasonal poetry, your favorite Sabbat cookie recipe, incense blends, or even spells (though Wicca isn’t about spells and a BOS is not a spell book, it might contain spells if you practice Witchcraft).
Basically– do not look for things to put into it. Rather, study and learn and practice Wicca, and sometimes you might say “hey, this is worthy of going into my BOS because I want to remember it.”
And if you’re like me (artistic) you might want to include drawings & decorations. Some people use computers to design pages, some people hand-write & draw everything, some people make it like a scrapbooking book. It’s up to you.

I know a book of shadows can seem overwhelming, but really you should put in what YOU think is important into it, not what others say **should** go into it.
Here I offer a bit of history, useless facts (lol) and suggestions on what you CAN put in your book
