How Blind People Use The ATM

Tommy Edison shows us what it’s like for him to use this ATM machine for the first time. Well, it’s been a whirlwind few weeks since the last Holy Hallucinations and a lot of water and about 5000 new subscribers have passed under the bridge. My heartfelt thanks again to everyone who gave me a shout-out recently, particularly JaguarJ0nes, Desertphile, chattiestspike2, PZ Meyers/Pharyngula, The AtheistExperience and dprjones. During all the furor, the user FranksVoice paid a couple of little visits to my channel to leave a comment. In the first he opined that this channel needs some serious prayer but, funnily enough, didn’t offer to provide any himself. Following this particularly good example of Christian compassion he returned and destroyed the whole of modern physical and biological science by decisively disproving with the quote “Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Game over!” Needless to say, having been confronted with an intellect of this magnitude, I felt compelled to surf over to his channel to see what I could see and found a mirror of the video I’m addressing here. The original, by user onceforgivennowfree can be found here: www.youtube.com Although the original is now 6 months old, and the argument tired and stale, I was so astounded by the disingenuousness with which it was presented that I really had to respond. Although I keep the other possibilities open in the video, having watched a few other offerings from this user I’m coming to the conclusion that he’s actually an intelligent individual who’s either refusing to

  4. Trisha Joe says:

Cool. I never thought of anything? like this

  5. TommyEdisonXP says:

It would be great to work with companies who make this stuff. Test the gear and? give feedback.

  6. 1971ojoalparche1971 says:

Tommy, have you ever considered designing everyday stuff so that blind people can use it? For instance,? I dunno, ATM machine audio menus?

I bet there’s not a single blind person involved in the design of things like this. It’s like toys: adults design them, but why not have kids do some of the thinking like in that movie?

  7. EpicDesigns101 says:

“it must of been camouflage” lmao you are really funny man i love what you do showing people how blind people do things that we other people who can? see do, and it is challenging for blind people to do that stuff but at the end your always smiling and always have a great positive attitude and cracking really funny jokes keep doing what you doing and may god bless you

  8. Federico84 says:

    40’000 $? Wow a lot of money 😀

  9. ladyrassilon says:

Well it would make sense? and the data is certainly there in the ATM to specify what bills were delivered and in what order…

  10. Devin DiMattia says:

The automated voice? sounds like Robot Patton Oswalt.

  11. Tomas tom says:

Yeah I saw it, my question is how? do you know what order the ATM gave you the money.??

  12. MegaMrFroggy says:

    Do you have a? girlfriend

  13. TommyEdisonXP says:

We made a video about? that… How Blind People Use Paper Money. Thanks for stopping by.

  14. practitrader says:

  20. Jessica Michallick says:

    Do? all ATMs have speech?

  21. artephile says:

ATMs are? pretty much unreasonably designed for everyone – there doesn’t seem to be logic to where each slot is place relative to the others!

  22. ThaaCranstonnn says:

how? do you know what bill is what amount?

  23. Sneighke says:

The ATM is it’s own worst enemy! Who designs these things! Clearly not blind people.
Everything is in braille already. WTF is with the “the keypad is located below the headphone jack in the seven o’clock position”? Seriously? HELLO, DUH. It? treats blind people like imbeciles. How does this happen? This is sad.

  24. IrishAndroid says:

I’ve been watching your videos and have a few thoughts. The rationality, commonality of spirit, and kind thoughts inherent in everything you do, sir, are inspiring. I wish I could do half of my days? activities with a tenth of the patience that you do. In the words of Jack Nicholson, you make me want to be a better man. Continue being an upward human being. I’ll be paying attention.

  25. Lock Smith says:

“That doesn’t feel like a hole”. – that’s what she said he said?

  26. MisterTutor2010 says:

Engineers are noble semi-skilled laborers, the? oompa loompas of science 🙂

  27. munstrumridcully says:

Yes, its the technocrat principle that modern religion wants instead of actual science. they want to enjoy the fruits of the scientific method’s labors while jettisoning the inconvenient skepticism toward assertions unsupported by evidence and the? very questioning nature that lead to all that bounty.

  28. Tupster says:

Sometimes engineers manage to get incredibly anti-scientific ideas. I think it is a problem? with being intelligent enough to apply the laws of science but never actually having to do real science themselves.

  29. Tyjohnable says:

That clip was? from Inside Natures Giants I watched it on EvolutionDocumentary.
I cant remember witch episode it’s from but I remember seeing it and thinking fuck I know I’m going to see that again in some retards video.

  30. Tyjohnable says:

Just a small point but please call them creationists or cretards I have christian friends and they are nothing at all like the Christians you are talking about.
After all Stalin was an atheist? and I fucking hate it when cretarded assholes say that like it actually has merit.

  31. psycotria says:

“People? are a part of nature, we evolved in nature.
In nature, bees make hives, and humans make cars.
Cars are made by nature, using humans,? and cars evolve every year. …”

While it may seem to be so, this analogy fails because bees make hive due to instinct, while humans must learn to make cars. Furthermore, car design changes due to market pressures; artificial selection, whereas beehives change due to fitness as a shelter for it’s builders; natural selection.

  32. CapQuacer says:

Missed opportunity at 6:11 his video was spelling “But” you should have let? the T appear and have the word hole fly by to complete the word.

  33. legion1a says:

People are a part of nature, we evolved? in nature.
In nature, bees make hives, and humans make cars.
Cars are made by nature, using humans, and cars evolve every year.
Earth is a living planet, and we are just parasites, using it up.
    (Really!)

  34. abstractnomad says:

There was a time we could not measure these forces however and if you theorized or philosophized about these invisible forces one was ridiculed. Through invention and science we now know? otherwise. Quantum physics is revealing how forces work @ the smallest level and soon we will have more answers. “All matter originates and exist only by virtue of a force…We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.”

    ~Max Planck

  35. omegavalerius says:

The first two invisible forces we can meassure and we can observe that they have an effect on nature. No similar repeatable and predictable observations have been made about divine creators? (or souls for that matter). Thats not the only reason I do not believe in a divine creator though. I find the argument philosophically ugly because it results in infinite regression of creators.

  36. lasder5 says:

You good sir? belong on tv.

  37. pintob99 says:

Ahhhh hahaha, if? I had only waited a minute longer!

  38. pintob99 says:

    6:00, Bill O’Reilly…? =P

  39. ignorancemovement says:

okay? this video should be shown in schools

  40. ignorancemovement says:

it’s like you knew they were trolling,? but replied anyway because you could.

  41. abstractnomad says:

Very well argued video, however, intelligent invisible forces play a huge part in our existence, gravity and electromagnetism are the two best examples I can think of at the moment. I do believe everything is constantly? evolving and adapting but I also believe in a divine creator or (Source Energy). I also choose to believe our body is a vessel for the evolution of the soul. My belief system also changes and adapts as I learn more about life.

  42. exa0 says:

AWESOME rebuttle,? Dino… great work as always.

  43. MrNoLeads says:

the only resemblance between living and non living things lay at the particle level..we all are created, or ” Generated ” serve a function or task “operate” and? then die or seas to exist eventually. “dissolve” g.o.d 🙂 lol

  44. Pat Doyle says:

Cars? are produced by nature, just like anthills and beaver dams. Humans are a part of nature – that which we produce is produced by nature. Maybe, if there is a God, he created evolution to create creatures that could build him a Shelby Cobra.

  45. Pat Doyle says:

The fundamental laws of natures did produce vehicles – they’re called? HORSES! Not the vehicle you wanted? Too bad – evolution doesn’t build to order.

  46. statikreg says:

Taking theists to task, one stinking pile of steaming shit at a time!?

  47. silentpoet1988 says:

    That is a awesome? idea!

  48. wearethemusicyoumake says:

This was almost unfair, he is so far out of the real world that its almost like? picking on the special needs kid at school.

  49. AThagoras says:

Cars are produced by the? forces of nature.
