I’m a straight man, and I use towels and cardboard as substitutes for curtains. This is why I am not an interior designer.
Give your answer to this question below!
Stereotypes are often based on a certain amount of truth (of course there are always exceptions). I don’t know a single straight man that is interested in interior design (exterior, yes). Like the first guy, my husband doesn’t give a flip…….he wipes his hands on the couch until I catch him and yell.
thats just the way it is
Stupid stereotype, nothing more.
Just because it’s a “traditional” all female field, it doesn’t mean that it should deter straight men from enrolling. I hope more men enrol because then it will destroy this ridiculous stereotype.
P.S. I really hate gender roles
Because it is. Straight men have neither the interest nor the aptitude for interior decorating. Gay men, however, spring from the womb frustrated that they could not get fabric samples and window treatments delivered to them while in utero so they could spruce up that drab space.
And women, of course, are good at everything.
