Stupid, Pointless Wisdom Teeth = PERFECT DESIGN?

Oh, thank you, heavenly transcendent ineffable being, for giving me these stupid, painful bitches of teeth that don’t fit in my head. You rock. :C

God has a plan for dentists, too, you know…

  2. InspctrClouseau says:

@JMcH Yes, it is circular. It is an extremely basic mathematical equation to support time as being consistent in a linear sense. It’s difficult to do much more with the 500 characters of type that Youtube provides…
Now, I’ve answered your questions a few times already while you’ve simply ignored mine; now it’s your turn. Where is your evidence that your God exists?

  3. InspctrClouseau says:

@JMcH Correct, variation is not evolution. But the example that I provided is not an example of variation. Genetic variation represents the building blocks for natural selection, in other basic words, the strong survive and the weak die. Evolution is a change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms through generations. Hence when viruses change their surface proteins they are doing so via evolution, not variation via natural selection.

  4. JMcH says:

@InspctrClouseau – That’s pretty circular. How do you know you’re going 60 MPH? That, too, is a measurement derived from time and it does not exist independently of time. That’s like saying, “Well, we’re evolved and us being here proves it.”

  5. InspctrClouseau says:

@JMcH That depends on what concept of time you are trying to prove. Here’s an extremely simple way to show evidence of linear time is basic math: If you are traveling at 60MPH for a length of one mile on a flat surface with no other variables that will disrupt your travel or speed, it will always take you one minute to travel the one mile. Do we need to put gravity “in a bottle and perform experiments on it” to know that it exists?

  6. JMcH says:

@InspctrClouseau – Exactly what sort of repeatable scientific tests can prove time exists? Can you put (no pun intended) time in a bottle and perform experiments on it?

  7. JMcH says:

@InspctrClouseau – Variation is not evolution. Domestic dogs show great variation — one could say drastic variation, yet every single one of them from the chihuahua to the mastiff remains the exact same species as the wolves they were bred from thousands of years ago.

No, I don’t think viruses turn into monkeys or ducks turn into crocodiles. However, we haven’t seen, don’t see, and will never see the kinds of changes that lead one species to evolve into a completely different species.

  8. InspctrClouseau says:

@JMcH That’s a pretty specific and far fetched theory. Do you have any evidence to support your claim?

  9. InspctrClouseau says:

@JMcH Viruses do evolve, which is how they continue to to infect new hosts. Viruses change their surface proteins to enable themselves to attach to their host’s changed cell surface receptors. You seem to think that evolution has to be a drastic change, such as viruses turning into monkeys or something like that…
And as far as time goes: I suggest that you take some basic, high school level physics classes. Also, the Bible uses time in a linear sense; are you contradicting the Bible?

  10. JMcH says:

@InspctrClouseau – So completely wrong. God did not create imperfections in us to make us suffer and be punished because of sin. He didn’t give us “too many teeth to discipline us.” Our bodies have become imperfect not because of God is punishing us, but because it is the natural result of sin. This imperfection includes everything up to and including death. Before the Fall, God gave us the “right” amount of teeth and the “right” mouth size to contain them all.

  11. JMcH says:

@InspctrClouseau – Viruses change, but they don’t evolve. They remain viruses and they remain the same type of virus that they always were — e.g. the cold virus remains the cold virus.

You’re right that there’s nothing magic about time, but that doesn’t stop evolutionists from waving it around as if it were in order to prove evolution.

And no, you can’t prove time exists. Time is not a thing that you can test in a lab. Since time cannot be proven to exist, it must not exist according to you.

  12. InspctrClouseau says:

@JMcH So…God deciding to create imperfections in “his” creations so that we can suffer and be punished for sins and actions that we did not commit is not wanting? The belief that the tooth fairy comes and leaves money under your pillow when you lose a tooth is about as believable as God giving us a few teeth too many to discipline us.

  13. InspctrClouseau says:

@JMcH The amount of generations needed to see results from evolution would vary, depending on what is changing in the body and in what organism it is changing. Viruses, for example, evolve constantly so that they can infect new hosts in a timely manner.
As far as time being a magic wand is concerned…no, there is nothing magic about time. Time exists and is proven to exist. All powerful omnipotent beings cannot be proven to exist, and until they are, they don’t exist.

  14. JMcH says:

@InspctrClouseau – If you take off your blinders, it actually does. I used to believe what you do, but then I actually began thinking critically and found the theory of evolution to be wanting.

  15. JMcH says:

@InspctrClouseau – How many generations? We’ve had countless generations according to evolutionists.

And you have your own “magic wand.” It’s called “time.” You wave it around and you can claim that everything you say will happen will actually happen. In fact, you just did do just that.

  16. InspctrClouseau says:

@JMcH Oh, yeah….right. Because that makes a hell of a lot more sense than the evolutionary theory…

  17. InspctrClouseau says:

@JMcH Her wisdom teeth haven’t “evolved away” because it’s not a fucking overnight process. It’s a complicated, long, arduous process that takes time and whch occurs over many, many generations. In your fairy tale Creationist world, things might happen in the blink of an eye, or when “God” waves his magic wand…but this is reality.

  18. InspctrClouseau says:

32 teeth? I only have 25…and soon I will be turning that into a lower, even number.

Also, appendix, inverted retinas and bling spot around the insertion of the optic nerves, and the fact that our spine is not well equipped for walking upright.

  20. smpaudio says:

Obviously the lord has a plan for you and your teeth. Because the designer of the universe cares about shit like that. Teeth, fingernails, hair… he’s really in to it.

Having too many teeth means you’ll have to go to the dentist You must work to make money. Therefore the LORD is telling you to be mindful of your job responsibilities otherwise you’ll be eating through a straw. Duh! It’s so obvious!

Plus, god gets pissy wen you ask him “why”, so I’ll just pray for the LORD to guide you.

  21. damaged01 says:

Because God is a shitty engineer and is therefore not god

  22. variableparticle says:

I was about to make a video on the same wavelength. You are awesome, by the way.

  23. JMcH says:

Now, if you want a Creationist explanation for wisdom teeth, you first have to do some reading and let go of your falsehoods and misconceptions. For example, we actually AREN’T the ideal of God’s Creation. We (and the rest of the world) are fallen and imperfect due to sin. That is why we have sickness, pain, suffering and death. And yes, that is why your wisdom teeth don’t fit in your head.

  24. JMcH says:

Your personal problem with your wisdom teeth doesn’t prove evolution or disprove Creationism. My wisdom teeth are fine and I will be able to keep them with no problems as long as I keep them clean and healthy. Many other people are the same. I guess we all disprove evolution and prove Creationism.

Tell me, why haven’t our wisdom teeth evolved away, like all these “vestigial” organs evolutionists claim we have?
