Listen to this, you live in a democracy which haves a resemblance with a Joint-stock company. The? diferance from this company to every other Joint-stock company is that ever one of alle the aproximatly 308 milion stocks ar divided to all the aprox 308 milion adults that lives in this deomcracy/company. the stock owners are suposed to vote for a kommitte which rules in favour for the people, which means that the government is the people. That is not how it looks today, but it’s not imposible.

  2. RustyDaleShackleford says:

Governing and ruling aren’t the same thing. For instance, a referee in a football game governs, while dictators rule. There’s a subtle difference in the implications. But business does not equal organized? crime. Any crime is just that, and should be punished through the courts. But when this doesn’t happen and organized crime runs free, it’s because powerful individuals have gotten in bed with corrupt politicians–government office holders. Less government power is the answer, not more.

  3. MegaBanne says:

Now you americans realy starts to scare me, 50% of the people in one country cant seriouly? be that dumb, can thay?

  4. MegaBanne says:

Govern and rule is basicaly the same terms, well the first one sound a bit more fancy than the other one.
And by the way, have you ever heared about “organized crime” that is when freaking microsoft have no government up their asses, so thay can do what ever they want. You live in a freaking dream world.
Do you know how russia is ruled? it is ruled by a council made up by the owners of the most powerfull companies in russia and Vladimir putin. But? you are probebly right, companies have no power.

  5. RustyDaleShackleford says:

Nobody wants anyone to rule. Government should GOVERN, not rule as it often does. Even if it were the case, that we’re choosing between having government or companies in charge, companies are the lesser evil. Government can take your property, throw you in jail, or even kill you. You don’t have to worry about Microsoft taking your life, liberty, or? property.

    ha? ha

  7. ScopedOUT2 says:

Nobody understands…we need to regulate more. We need to write more laws. There’s just something magical about a pen or a printer putting ink on paper. For one, it makes the asshole who wrote it, feel important and it also has mystic powers to stop bad things from happening.

Whoever disagrees? is an unpatriotic..possibly terrorist, fanatic.. who wants lawlessness.

  8. MegaBanne says:

Sad to se how americans complains about not having a system so badly that they want to skip the system and let the companies rule? over you as an alternative system, like russia.

sounds like? someone LOVE RON PAUL!!

  20. icopaseticMHF says:

no difference – Reagan said a lot of nice things *government is not the solution to our problem, government is the problem* but during his 8 years government spending increased. The right wing spends just like the left. Stossel is not a Republican. Libertarians believe in both civil liberties & fiscal freedom, even if your ideas disgust them on? a personal level. Trying to control people for their own good never works, no matter how kind or clever the ruler/leader is.

  21. Griezz says:

You know, I gotta ask… with all this talk about Obama being treated like a rock star, being called “the one” or treated like a saviour… wasn’t? that EXACTLY how Ronald Reagan was perceived back in 1980? So what’s the difference?

  22. darris321 says:

Stossel has a beautifully? powerful stache.

  23. TheReasonWhyGuy says:

  24. potterfan392 says:

I think this is what a lot of people think about Ron Paul. Don’t get me wrong; he is a great candidate, and I will vote for him, but? he cannot fix our country alone.
