A somewhat stupid question about Henna kits?

Question by modelesque: A somewhat stupid question about Henna kits?
Last night I posted a question asking if you can get custom henna designs at a henna place. The kiosk that I know that does henna doesn’t do custom pieces (or so I think, they had pictures of all the designs you can get up). If I were to buy a kit, would I be able to do a custom henna on myself or is it specifically made to use the stencils?
I’nm pretty artistic, if that helps.

you could but without experience it could look very bad

of course you can do it yourself, you just want to use some transfer paper and put the design on the skin and just trace it. You might want to do a few test runs first to make sure you have the technique down first.
You can get a complete kit with transfer paper at Henna Hut.
You can do whatever you like and drawing freehand is best.
Nothing could be stupider than my answer. I don’t know what a henna tattoo is made of or anything. Never even saw one untill yesterday, and that was a photograph. Looked like a tattoo to me. Where somebody would get one, I’d have to reasearch.
it’s easy to buy henna at an Indian grocery store. Not particularly expensive either. Grab some and mess around with it for a while. you can draw the design on you first and then henna on top of it if you like. if you hate it, wipe it off immediately
