Question by Paul C: How does a Honda remote start work?

I’m confused about how a remote start work. Some people say after you remote start a car and open the door to get in, the engine dies and you have to restart the car again. If this is true, then the design is just stupid. Is this true? Thanks for your answers.

…I dont know who said that but you’d hear that happening.
What it does is receives the signal from the key fob and instead of you completing the primary ignition circuit with your key, it connects it electronically, probably magnetically and that sends voltage to the secondary ignition (spark plugs etc) and starts like a regular car.
