The power/lock button on my Apple iPhone 4 is not broken and I cannot power the device on or off. I’ve tried synching it too but it won’t wake up. The button feel flimsy, as if the spring action below the button malfunctioned. I’m going to cross my fingers and carry it to the local AT&T store. I’m afraid that they’re going to try to sell me a new phone though. If you’ve encountered the same issue and know how to repair iPhone 4 buttons, please let me know. Thanks!
I hear ya Alchaeon…it seems like the planet is running open loop..I don’t believe they fully understand or just don’t give? a dam about this radiation. I am a veteran with experience handeling radioactive materials…I’ve had 3 different cancers my heart valve was eaten up and there is more on the way…of course the V A says…Your problems can’t be from the radiation ! I worked with that crap for three years and now it’s gotten me good…I think it’s just another inconvienent truth.

if you go to settings then general, accessibility, and turn assistive touch on then you can use that to lock your screen, the same? thing happened to me
@TheHockeyCanadian I’ve never thought abou that. Maybe water crept in when it was on my? bathroom counter.

@RoxanaLovesYou98 It’s annoying? isn’t it? I mean now if my phone goes off, I will likely not be able to power it down without letting the battery die 100% first and then plugging it back into the charger. Also, if an application locks up, there is no way to reboot the phone. I’m hoping mine hops along at least for a few more months. I’ll be eligible for a “discounted” AT&T phone then. I really hope it works until the iPhone 5 comes out…don’t want a 4S =(

@tas1561 Good suggestion and thanks! I would if it wasn’t so far away. AT&T Store got it powered back up, so I should be good as long as? it doesn’t lose its charge. I just can’t lock the display….have to wait for it to auto-lock. Hopefully it’ll hop along until the iPhone 5 comes out. I have no desire to purchase a 4S.
