This bill was designed to fail. It was a pathetic political ploy, Democrat never had any intention of helping anybody but themselves with it.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that when you suspend normal legislative process you’re not going to get a lot of support from the other side. They meant it to fail.

Sad that you would use a bill designed to help the heroes of 9/11 with their medical problems like this. If you ask me, it is more than sad, it is pathetic.

How can a bill be “designed to fail” when votes from the other party could have passed it? If Republicans had voted in favor of the bill it would be law now. But they didn’t.
Why do people from your party seem so incapable of taking responsibility? You claim you want power, but when you have it, you try to pass the buck.
That was the purpose of the demand for the majority vote so they could blame Republicans but it is backfiring on them.

Those guys were all volunteers! They had informed knowledge of the risks, why do they need a “bail out” too?
