Question by Ms. Sunshine: Is graphic design better or journalism?
I’m going back to school and I love both these majors. Which one has a better job market and which one is just better overall??
(I know this question sounds stupid but just humor me?

Give your answer to this question below!
i would say journalism
Graphic design and photography!! I wish I had done that when I went to uni.
I love that I also have interests in both of these jobs! =)
I think both have wide markets, its just they take a bit of finding. I myself am hoping to aim towards Graphic Designer, as its something I really enjoy =) Which ever one you feel suit’s you and you’ll be happy with.
I think graphic design and journalism are both radically changing industries. With graphic design you are going to have to constantly keep up with changing technology and learn new design programs. The journalism industry is also at a crossroads. Bloggers are challenging traditional news sources like newspapers, and broadcast news. There are many more citizen journalists who post their content on the web for free. But if you are talented and persistent, there are still jobs available. Check out:

My last piece of advice for you is to go with your passion. It is so important to like what you do.
if it was me i’d lean more into journalism but hun it’s your life, you do want you feel is better for you! you can always do both! 🙂 good luck! x
