do u guys think it is stupid to design a ps4 so soon i mean the ps3 was not a good best seller more PsOne’s and PS2’s were sold than PS3’s ?
to me i think they should wait a bit longer

There is no ps4 coming out soon. The ps4 will probably be out in 5-6 years. What are you talking about?

hes right, when ps3 came out, sony said they arent making another system for 10 years, so u might as well buy a ps3, especially now that they’re only 299
Its not a PS4 its a PS3 slimmed down…
Well i hope now that the Slim is out the PS3’s sales will take off. There have been some articals on MyYahoo home page on ho the PS3’s sales have sky rokceted.
So the PS3 will probably not be out for a LONG time. Hopefully about 6 years. We are safe for now, because i am not ready for another console. And have you heard of OnLive? well hopefully that wont get very far, or consoles will have a tough time. Doubt OnLive will make much of a impact.
Basicly don’t expect the PS4 for a while Sony is to smart to rush out another console.
IF they said they will Design the PS4 in 2010, that does not mean that it will be out in 2010. The PS4 should not be out until about 2014. If they say their gonna design the PS4, that probably means, there gonna design how it will look, and how they will make the controller and everything.
But it would be a stupid Idea.
Cause the PS3 is SLOWLY raising in sells, now that it has lowered down to 299$
Plus nobody has yet to reach the PS3’s full potential in a game yet. God Of War 3 might come close, but theres no telling how GREAT the PS3’s power really is. Which is why the PS4 wont be released so soon.
So what they mean by design is that there going to figure out how its gonna look, and everything. But it wont be out for like 5 more years.
They might “start” the development process in 2010 but too design, build and test a new machine like that takes years. PS4 will likely come out in 2012 or 2013 so I could see Sony beginning the design of it in 2010.
It’s a dumb idea. Also, where did you hear Sony said that? As far as I know, they plan on going with the ps3 until at least 2015.

It may be that they are planning to start thinking about what they want to do with the PS4 in 2010, but it will take several years to develop it, and they will change their minds about various things along the way, because during that time technology will advance and give them more options to play with. So, even if they put someone on to start thinking about it, it still won’t be finished and put onto the market until around 2016, which is what they’ve said all along:)
