Not only a great song choice, but this is some of the best kinetic typography out there. Thanks for the great work!

  2. Jensalra says:

@vrem The song’s from the 80s so I think it’s the other way around

  3. vrem says:

  8. FenrirLupei says:

Your usage of typography is astounding. It’s refreshing to see someone who doesn’t just stick the words up there but actually uses them as an animated element to reinforce the tempo and mood of the song.

I absolutely adore this song. He played in a movie recently called “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. He was hot when he was young, but that voice will never cease to give me goosebumps!

  26. CHazard91 says:

@poolopis01 I wouldn’t call paying thousands of dollars to get into university a good system. However, I can’t argue that there are great universities in USA. And if competition is what got them there, why couldn’t it also be used for other school levels? Why would people keep their eyes shut and say ignorant things like the woman at the end of the video? I don’t understand how people can so blatantly ignore facts just to resist any change to a system that isn’t working. I just don’t get it.

  27. Tinas3muskateers says:

if I had 10,000 dollars to educate my children at home, OMG what we could do!

  28. poolopis01 says:

@jakeway85 Britain didn’t win jack. It got the ever loving crap bombed out of it by a superior German army. How was rebuilding after the war under the Marshall Plan?

  29. poolopis01 says:

@CHazard91 That’s for preparatory education. The United States uses that system of competition for its universities, and has produced the best university system in the world.

  30. poolopis01 says:

@artilleryisbetter The northeastern states have the highest performing students on an international scale and best private schools, but the Midwest definitely has the best public schools.

  31. poolopis01 says:

@TheThedot Yeah, get rid of those Asians, see how you fare. What a retard.

  32. poolopis01 says:

@pbatusa There are public schools because a completely private educational system would automatically exclude any low-income families from educating their children. The whole idea of deteriorating academic performance is rather silly. More Americans are taking advanced courses across the academic spectrum today than just a generation ago. What has happened is other countries have improved even more.

  33. BorderCityBandit says:

the answer is right here on youtube,Lady gaga videos 200,000,000 views,A video about our Founding Fathers,897 views ,basically the young dumbasses, only know pop culture, couldnt tell you what year the war of 1812 was ,LOL yet can tell you everything about Justin Fucking Beiber. This country hasn’t got a bright future.Im almost certain that Kids in high school today , think that Joan of arc was NOAHS wife, sad but fucking true

  34. TheThedot says:

Just think how great our nation would be without stupid lazy retard minorities.

  35. 100littlecurses says:

    nah. problem is the students.

  36. hugejoint says:

even the poor ones, like Czech Republic!!! YESSS 😉

  37. hamburg833 says:

Well then ms blonde lady in blue suit at 38:45why does it work so well every where else in the world?

  38. AugustusLarch says:

    @artilleryisbetter

Midwest schools score highest. There isn’t much to distract them especially in the winter. There’s the scandinavian work ethic at play as well.

  39. artilleryisbetter says:

which state in the us is best educated

  40. ChoujiMan says:

I think people who say we should privatize schools are missing the point. Yes the school system is really shitty but that doesn’t necessarily mean we should privatize it. Reform might be a better alternative.

  41. CHazard91 says:

“Competition is not for public education. It never has been, and never will be.” Then why the hell does it work in the countries that do it? Here in Finland, parents and their children can choose what school they go to, and that encourages the schools to perform better. The result? The Finnish education system and its academic results are rated as the best in the world year after year. How are the people in control in America ignorant enough not to acknowledge this?

  42. Vidgames123 says:

Im part American and part Fillipino. Im proud of both countries and visit my Fillipino relatives. When I was in Middle School in Florida I was called Chinese, Japanese, Korean the list goes on. I was mad, but not sterotyping the whole American race ignorant like other ignorant people. As we grew up we weren’t as ” stupid” when we were kids.

  43. PIlotrcm says:

Why are American schools failing? I think you would have to study the social behaviors of the American culture compared to that of other countries. Some basic facts….
    1. Americans glorify wealth over education.
    2. Americans glorify physical achievement over academic strength.
    3. Most Americans are spoiled they’ve never lived in the slums of a city such as Panaji, India and if they are from the ghetto they believe they cant succeed in a “pro-white” system.

  44. PIlotrcm says:

    4. Most American kids learn by social conditioning that to show a lack of self control, to act like a clown, to be a stand up comic is rewarding because people appreciate the humor they provide, and so they act that way in a classroom.
    5. General lack of teaching discipline from American parents and the adult American community.
    6. Americans believe everything should be rewarding and enjoyful, even hardwork. Which results in #5.

  45. PIlotrcm says:

Lets be honest…Americans are fucking lazy and they dont discipline their kids, learning doesnt have to be fun…its called DO IT!!! In some cultures if youre stupid in your family you are disowned…American kids seem to pride themselves on their comic stupidity

  46. kazuosrevenge2 says:

Throwing money at the problem isn’t going to make it go away.

In Washington DC every few years some naive Politian says, “We’ve got kids graduating from high school who can’t read. We need to end ‘social promotion’ and stop pushing these kids forward.”

Every time it’s the same answer, the media cries racism. “Ending social promotion is intended to hold back black student!”

  47. octopibingo says:

Private and charter schools do better.

So the problem is public schools.

  48. emsher88 says:

The situation is horrible… What such “poor countries” (although they are not so poor) as Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and, what to say, the rest of the world can do is to laught at you, is what i was doing untill watching this video. Now i just feel sympathy for americans. And little scared of us, cuz lots of people and countries try to copy u, but they shouldn’t.

  49. kirask1233 says:

Hahaha stupid American schools go to Russia… !!

  50. jakeway85 says:

I have a conspiracy theory that the United States was created as a place to send stupid people to soldier on as the European continent continues to sip wine and eat caviarre. Britain could not have won back to back world wars without the dyed in the wool support of the military colonies in the 20th century.
