i’m gonna assume you don’t mean literal design.
Appendix, wisdom teeth, the knee is a terrible joint, tailbone, some people are still born with little tails, testicles on the outside, no gills, no wings, no laser eyes, etc.
Evolution is an ongoing process, nothing is perfect. You probably should ask “what intellectual and sociological weaknesses exist that enable religious fanatics to conflate evolution and biology with “design” by mythical supernatural constructs?”.
