This video documents Ancient western civilization from it’s beginning, in 3500BC, to it’s end with the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476AD. It provides…
Strides in technological innovation are causing more and more jobs to disappear. Machines are increasingly able to perform tasks in which humans were once un…

Who were? (Celt-)Iberian and not Gauls despite the widespread belief.
Americans you know? 😉
why is Britain written on Ireland? fucking fools
?
They stepped on somebody who was lying? down.
3:09 Asterix Age :)?
Why don’t you show the next 1000 years for? the Roman (Byzantine) Empire?
Yup once again it’s shown how meaningless and vague that word the “west” really is,? hell next thing china will be included
The Ottomans didn’t destroy all of the Roman Empire, It? was the Byzantine Empire, who spent over 400 years declining, with only a tiny fraction of Greece and Constantinople before the Ottomans destroyed them. This video ends almost 1000 years before that…
Was Greece in this war doesn’t look? like it, Because in that time Greece and Persia was at war.
“fucked all roman empire” history? maybe?
But your not swedish, that’s? egypt. You need to learn your history. Read gencgenc comment.
“We Fuck the your mom!”
Wow, who knew that you can? fuck up a child’s insult…
Idiots these days…
This document is very wrong… hmm… why is it different? ?
becuase in 476AD the roman empire collapsde and put the end of the antiquity so a new era started ; the middle-ages till 1456AD the fall of Constantinople? were it ends
Go Home tata? you’re drunk.
90% wrong…!!?
@somrazy3 We fucked your mom for centuries okeyy? You are stupid infidel! We come back, No fear!, We Fuck the your mom!
Didn’t? you read the comment from gencgenc, Islam didn’t exist until 570AD and this timeline ends at 476AD.
EXCALY? BROTHER
where is? islam?
remove? kebab.
no the eastern roman? empire
What an occult nonsense… There were no “germanic” tribes? at the current territories of Poland and even eastern Germany… only Venetic (Slavic) western tribes who later mixed with Skoti (“Skolotoi”) aka “Scynthian” Slavs and became SklaVeni (Skoloti + Veni/Veneti) or Sloveni, Sklavini.
in the 1800s bc Babylon conquered Assyria, why is their no mitani and? Iberian culture isn’t a civilisation,
this? is very wrong !!!!!
we need to reduce the working week at the pace of increasing productivity ,8 hours workday has like a century, why not reduce it to 7 hours, and then move to 4 days workweek, we are stuck mentaly, technology is suposed to make our lives better not to be feared.?
so the solution is simple reduce the working day? and then the working week 8 hours a day programe has like 100 years, why not move to 7-6? 5 days a week is almost standard for decades all over the world why not move to 4? and then in a 30 -40 years time we can transform to a new society, high unemployment is a stupidity that can always be avoided if the political will is there.
man is hard to measure performance, you? only see it when you don’t have it ,for ex you can’t play dx11 games with an old dx10 video card, but the test that measures performance between them in dx 10 doesn’t compare them fairly, and the 18 month time is just a statistic it doesn’t mean necessarely that in the next 18 months performance doubles. then chips become smaller and consume less power so that has to be factored in too, most times cpu-s become smaller they don’t have the same size as old o
wich grows faster because of human inovation? in design
robots will do things, wich makes life possible, and humans will do things wich makes life fun?
“This is one of the very few? cases where Keynes was not correct” – Oh, the humanity!
simply brilliant Mcafee!!?
Immensely? intriguing!
Yes and: “…who? predicted that period for a doubling in chip performance (being a combination of the effect of more transistors and their being faster).”
Moore’s law talks about the number of transistors per inch squared? which still hold valid, not necessarily a doubling in CPU speed.
Moore’s law? I don’t really see it to be honest… where is my 2x CPU performance today compared to 18 months ago? Look at any 3D Mark benchmark score today compared to 18 months ago. While we might in fact double in power.. it’s not delivered so it is not in effect.. Kursweil et al. all hinge on Moore’s Law but? I don’t see it..
Great? video!
Mr. McAffe brings up a very valid point…what’s happening to our jobs? In a decade you could see transportation jobs dissapearing, They don’t mention it in here but Solar power technological advancement are advancing at? the same rate, by 2016 we will be able to harness enough power for all our energy concerns, what will happen to the energy industry? Such an exciting time.
It’s definitely of concern. What’s of more concern, and I suspect this will come up in the broader discussion, is what happens if someone is able to manipulate these? machine/computer based systems to their advantage.
Great! Busing tables at restaurants is a safe haven of the future? economy!
