how is the bayres mounted? with toolles clips or screwed in? it sounds like
its the vibration of the case, caused by the pump.

hi mate i just got this pump i dont have the cracklign noise but i have
that awful high pitch HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM did you ever get rid of it ?

@hurt4fun It is mounted with screws. The noise is from the pump blades

arghh thats good to know thanks alot would a zalman fanmate v2 work ? dont
want anything fancy just something to? reduce that motor whine and at lower
speed does it still cool fine ? any change in temps ?

I use a fan controller to slow it down. Below 4.4v it won’t spin at all. I
run it between 4.4v and 6.6v and it seems to be silent.
