He wanted to clean his desk to game on his pc. By the way, I don&#8217;t think this is OK for your 3DS, so please don&#8217;t try it and blame me for breaking yours :O A friend of mine told me it probably has something to do with magnets inside the both DS. This is how it probably works : There are magnets underneath the DS and inside the top cover. They give each other a signal when the DS is closing, going into sleep-mode. The cover of the DSLite gives the 3DS a different signal to the magnet, because it&#8217;s underneath the 3DS. The first part of the video is explanatory text with a bit of audio &#8211; the second half shows video of the symptoms of &#8216;the fault&#8217;. Is it possible there is some form of feedback between the antenna and power\/remote sockets? Anyone else experienced this problem? Intelligent comments\/suggestions\/remedy most welcome.
