Everything indicates that it should work and after going through all the suggested troubleshooting steps, including re-installing setpoint, it still doesn&#8217;t work.<br \/>\nOne of the posts suggested that there is a design flaw in the mini-receiver and indicated that using a usb hub will solve the problem.  However, I tried 2 different usb hubs\/extensions and it still doesn&#8217;t work.  The only thing that works for me is if I physically push down on the mini-receiver with my hand while it&#8217;s plugged into either my computer or the usb hub.  Then the mouse will work until I take the pressure off again.  This causes me to suspect that it is indeed a fatal design flaw with the contacts inside the mini-receiver.<br \/>\nIs there a product recall or faq issued about this problem?  If the mini-receiver has been redesigned, where can I obtain a replacement?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>Answer by tiggsy<\/i><br \/>If it&#8217;s never worked, and you live in UK, you should send it back for a refund\/replacement ASAP. Under the Sale of Goods Act it must be of merchantable quality &#8211; ie. it must work. It&#8217;s not good enough that it works on someone else&#8217;s kit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Know better?
