I can&#8217;t recall what it is or where to buy it. Anyone know or have any ideas on how to take care of the mineral buildup without calling a repairman? Thanks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>Answer by M M T<\/i><br \/>Save your money and use white vinegar.  Dump a couple of cups of white vinegar in the bottom of the machine after it&#8217;s started filling with hot water.  Let it start to &#8220;wash&#8221; and shut it off for 1\/2 hour or so.  Then turn it back on and let it complete the cycle.<\/p>\n<p>If you do this on a monthly basis, it&#8217;s good, cheap, and keeps your dishwasher working at it&#8217;s best.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Know better?
