Quite ironic that if it weren’t for the Nazis attacking the Soviets and bringing them into the war, the probability of? the allies winning in Europe would have been much lower.
the 1965 version was the only version at fault. from 1966 onward the plane was redesigned to make it so that it had better protection. that and the wheels were made by dunlop? and michellin which are stronger than most jet tyres to date. the fuel tanks were only designed for quick destination flights as it could do from manchester (UK) the New york (USA) in under 3 hours. the 4 tanks were, one for take off and landing, 1 for building up speed, 1 for mach 2 flight and 1 reserve.
trust me it wasn’t concords fault. after having an entire family working in BAE (except me, i work in a paint factory) and getting told by my family about how reliable the concord was compared to other jets, i should think i know what i’m on about. basically it could have happened to any jet at any time, so not the concords fault. the true reason it stopped being used however is due? to costs. it could take up to 100 passengers but the cost for a ticket was £3,500 1 way.

It was also Concords fault. The tanks? of the plane werent strong enough, also the wheels.
flew less than other planes but covered more miles. a normal jumbo flies for 4 years before being decommissioned yet most concords were used for less than 4 years, the one i went to see today flew for less than 2. and seeing as how it wasn’t concords fault that it crashed instead it was some debris which? was lifted up which any plane can do which destroyed the engines by going through the protective lining. according to the guy who showed me it, he said it covered 200,000,000 miles in 1 year.
But the Concorde didnt flown that often, less then other airplanes, so after the only Crash in the year 2000 the Concorde become the unsafest? plane in the world.
i watched a documentary on concord not to long back and? the best thing about that documentary is when they guy had to tell the Yanks that their designs for a super sonic airliner wouldn’t work when concord was already under going test phases.. and also i like how america says its got the best technology for fighting in battles, well all i can say is, they don’t know how to use any of it..
we don’t need the designs for the F-22 raptor.. seriously, they have that jet which will get out dated within 2 years because they can’t add new technology to it. yet we have the euro fighter which is about 5 – 10 years older than the F-22 and in 2 years will become more advanced as we weren’t stupid enough to forget to make integrated systems for new technology.? that an a spitfire could out fly an F-22 raptor, just by turning and pulling a few loops, then shoot with its out dated guns to kill
concord only had about 1 – 3 crashes in 27 years if i remember correctly.. and there was? only 30 made. now correct me if i’m wrong but the american bowing series has made about 400 of their air liners, and every 3 – 4 years about 40 crash.. seriously, i think i would rather take my chances with concords.. which is why i no longer travel by plane, instead i go by car, and train.. which is really pretty much worse when i drive my car. unsure of when i’ll make it home safe lol.

The? statistic says that the Concorde is the most unsafest airplane, if you take the flight distance and the crashes.

Umm, America essentially stole many military technologies in exchange for money we had to? pay back anyway, not to mention quietly demanding the dis-mantling of the british empire and more importantly it’s trade network and replacing it in many instances with American trade agreements. so yeah – Thanks…
