i have the theme? song as my ringtone.
It will be? weird INTERVIEWING her after listening to all the audiobooks! 😉
I? saw Dodger!
That’s one perspective. Of course, plotless books are no fun to read and, subsequently, less effective in delivering other elements. See Samuel Johnson’s comment on anecdote.
Besides, if you can? write a good book *and* shoehorn zombies into it, well you’re golden.
I used to LARP with? her
I wonder if you guys will ever? do a graphic novel.
I? love this show!
Boneshaker was great! Love that book, now i have to dive into the others…?
No offense, but plot devices like zombies or ninjas, are not what makes a book great. They are just that, plot devices, nothing more, nothing less. As i’ve heard often “You can make a good book/movie/game? out of anything”. If you only grasp a novel on the level of plot, then either you missed the juicy bit or the author is not great.
Soo? fuucking pretty 😉 Really cool interview Still not enough Veronica to keep my satisfied
Gross. Nobody needs to? know that…
Yay Gail? Carriger!
Unicorns in? space heh
Another good episode! I? really do enjoy your author interviews. I like the variety questions, too. I can’t wait to see the next one!
Awesome,? I just got into Cherie Priest
Fantastic interview. Huge fan of Cherie Priest and you kids at Sword and? Laser.
I don’t know, but I’ll ask her.?
Who said the old jokes are always the best? 🙁
Tom
You are so lucky because you get to meet lots of cool, attractive intelligent women.
You also get to hang out with Veronica.
Only joshing of course, Veronica is all those things and more. (sigh)
Spiffing episode as always. Not read any SP fiction? as yet but will try to get my cotton picking south paw on a copy of Deadnought. Not Boneshaker, don’t like zombies! *shiver*
With? the quality of her camera she kind of reminds me of Molly Wood. Great interview. Buying the book.
Hey! I just got a Cherie Priest book from the library! I got there 5 minutes before closing time and just had to pick something fast and I saw a? book called “Ganymede” which is a name I really like, and the picture of Priest had her wearing a top hat, so I thought: sold! Well, rented! It’s a pretty good book! Also in the Clockwork Century universe.
sad that this show isnt getting that many views…its one of the best book podcasts…..
and yeah? greetings from ASIA!~
wait… just to nit pick .. 1:45 you say “borrows throught alaskain ice looking for gold but hits a vien of blight gas”
just to be clear i am pretty sure the vien? of blight gas was hit in Seattle NOT alaska!
did i miss hear or did you make a mistake?
Boneshaker was SOOOO GOOD !
one of the best steam punk? books i have read
You are? probably my hero.
My friend? says “I’m not a big fan” every time she doesn’t like something… and she doesn’t like a lot of things.
Weird… I just called my friend out on saying “I? know right” too much yesterday…
I used? to say “and stuff” until my boyfriend called me out on it whenever I did, and now I notice if i ever say it accidentally.
i actually say “i know right?” all the time…i guess a? lot more people than i thought do too…it annoys the shit out of my friends tho!
i know,? right… oh Fu *cut scene*
My friend starts every conversation, tells any story,? responds to ANYONE else by saying “That’s it!”
“Google that shit.” I used to say, “I know, right?” until my bf started cheating on me? with a chick who also said it, so I quit.
My sister always says tn and it annoys the living heck out? of me.
my friends say awkward a lot, even when its not awkward but then it makes it awkward!?
I already go a squaresville sticker :D…..from mary kate herself it was so cool 8D
?
I never used to say(or noticed I said) “I know right”…. until I watched this video. Now its like a curse, I heard it all the time(mostly? spoken by myself)!!!
I say “Or? something” to finish my sentences way too much or something.
1:29 Are you sure he isn’t just drunk?
Great episode btw?
Everytime I tell a story? it starts with ‘I got bored one day’, and my boyfriend always says ‘I couldn’t stop laughing’
Mine is “I’ll explain”. In my second year of university I was talking to a guy and said “I’ll explain” during a conversation.? He looked at me and said “You know what, I now remember I met you in 10th grade because you used “I’ll explain” that time too”. I mostly got rid of this phrase since then.
My friends don’t really have those habits, but I say “you know” and “awesome” like, in? every other sentence.
I feel like I lose IQ? points whenever I say “I know, right?”
I love this, so much. My husband and I catch ourselves saying this all the time, and it constantly throws our friends off. Personally, I’m always saying “Come at me bro!” when I’m playing a game. Any? game.
My girl friend, when she’s explaining who said? what in a story says, “So, she said, she said”.
I? have a friend who, whenever he wants to convey gratitude, will say, “Spank you. You’re the breast. I rub you.” Every. Time.
Esther is the shit.? And literally me.
Esther just became my favorite? character just for standing up to the “I know, right” zombies. But being a comedy/drama series, there was no way she was going to make it to the end of the episode without slipping up in front of her friends and hating herself for it. Good job.
yeah… “legitimately” .I hate you sometimes,? Sierra.
