Hey Gamers, we’re going on a little ride down memory lane to look at some of the most influential Role Playing Games of all time. I’ve broken down seven titles that have forever changed the gaming world…and all for the better. . Let’s start with a classic console turn base RPG. Final Fantasy 3…errr 6. Stupid final fantasies with their messed up numbering system…Any ways, this game brought an interesting and unique way to customize your characters with magical powers ALSO, this game’s story, showed how epic every RPG should be. Come on, the main villain destroys the world in this, and that’s only the half way mark!! . In a time when turn based RPGs were taking over the super Nintendo, an instant fan favorite was Chrono Trigger. Fun characters and an interesting time traveling story line kept players moving forward. But what really needs to be noted here was the games unique combat system. You could position you heroes specifically on the battlefield to do unique partner moves. All the combinations kept you on your toes and trying out new party members. , Moving forward was one of Playstation’s highest selling Greatest Hits title, The Legend of Dragoon. xenogears?? if you haven’t tried you have to jovenshire. it is a ps1 classic with a great storyline, get it on the ps3
I would have added parasite eve to the list, you had to figure out a mystery, the first game had 2 ends, and leveling up was important, unique boss openings and had a ghost that helped you out, it is my favorite? game
oh I really do like the setting for FFIX and I? do like most of the world map I just like FFVII actual map better. I think both Mist Continent and the one with the lifa tree on it are amazing I just felt that the other 2 are kinda thrown in there without much on them. But you don’t go there much so it’s not a big deal just felt they could of eliminated a bunch of the excess map.
I would Switch FF7 and FF9, FF7’s music was? epic but the world is no where near as good as FF9’s,

Really I’d have had “Phantasy Star 4”, “The legend of Zelda” and? “Ultima Online” on my list. I’m not going to say which 3 I’d drop from your list, Just that one would start a flame war.
Final Fantasy with? FF6 story FF7 enviornment, FF10 battle/leveling system, FF4 characters, and FF9 Music would be the best =)
