Question by Sam: I’m painting a mug, any design ideas?

I started painting stupid little pottery things in my spare time now a bunch of people are asking me to make them ones, and I ran out of ideas.. I like to do little designs or pictures, I plan to give one to my sister for her birthday. She is 21 (don’t worry I’m getting her an adult gift too >_<) and in college. I'm looking for something intricate and detailed, something that would take me forever to paint but would come out fantastic. Best answer:

I’ve always like rainbows and musical notes for some reason; or flowers; I’ve seen paw prints for pet lovers.
